Her Royal Highness was presented to the waiting dignitaries and guests, these included the Chairman of Suffolk Coastal District Council, the Parish Council and the Rural Housing Trust.

After a presentation of a posy by a local child the Princess unveiled a commemorative bench made by local craftsman Alan Dunnett. 

Following the unveiling she was shown around one of the properties on Ablitts Meadow.

After seeing around the property the Princess traveled to the Village Hall were she met groups of people involved in the scheme, including Parish Councillors, District Councillors and Officers, Contractors and Housing Association representatives.
